Sonya
Sonya VOICE
Sonya is a singing teacher in Paris, as well as a mezzo-soprano and performer. She trained at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege in New York, where she studied classical music, acting for singers, stage work, music theory, and dance. She later completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater, where she studied with Carolyn James and performed in studio concerts and opera productions.
Her lessons can include vocal technique, musical expression, stage confidence, and stylistic flexibility. She has been giving voice lessons since 2018 and has also taught at Singliebe, a private vocal school in Hamburg.
Alongside her teaching, Sonya maintains an active performance career across classical, pop, jazz, and theatre styles. She has appeared in opera productions, recording sessions, live concerts, private events, and televised performances, including appearances in Paris at Quelle Époque and Salle Pleyel. Her varied performance background enables her to support students seeking a strong vocal foundation while exploring diverse musical genres.
Sonya has collaborated with The American Conservatory of Paris since 2025.
