About the Trumpet
The trumpet, a brass instrument, is known for its bright and assertive sound that can cut through musical ensembles with clarity. Its piercing tone, achieved through the buzzing of the player’s lips, lends the trumpet a distinctive and versatile quality, making it a key player in various genres, from the triumphant fanfares of classical music to the vibrant improvisations of jazz.
The trumpet is an instrument that can be started from approximately 9 years old, when a child has their adult teeth. It is a fun choice of instrument for beginners, teenagers and adults.
Our Teachers
All of our teachers hold university degrees specifically in their instrument. We select them for their passion for music and care for teaching. They are always encouraging and positive, catering to each student’s interests, desires, and goals. We teach with an “American Approach” to music education with your hands on the instrument from the first day (read our blogpost about the American Approach).

Useful Resources
-
Buying a Trumpet
The price of an entry-level trumpet is about 200€.

Other Equipment: Music Stand
Students need a music stand for their lessons and for regular practice at home. It is best to have a sturdy stand at home rather than a very light folding stand, which can be unstable and uncomfortable for daily use.
The preferred stand among many musicians is:
-Manhasset Orchestral 50 (about 80€)
If you prefer a portable stand, we recommend:
-K&M 10810 (about 70€)
