Jessica CELLO

Jessica, an enthusiastic pedagogue and performer, earned her Master of Arts from the Royal Academy of Music in London and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan.

During her time at the Royal Academy of Music, Jessica actively studied with Mats Lidström as a scholarship recipient. Graduating with Distinction, she earned the Academy’s highest performance award—the Diploma. Uniquely, Jessica also holds the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music, a pedagogical license exclusive to Academy graduates. Her earlier studies with Anthony Elliott at the University of Michigan resulted in Summa cum Laude honors and the Alfred B. Lockwood memorial scholarship.

Passionate about teaching, Jessica received mentorship from Daniel Smith, a former Director of the Junior Royal Academy of Music. In London, she maintained an active private teaching studio and concurrently served as the Head of Music at King Solomon Academy, known for its focused strings education program.

Over the years, Jessica has taught strings, music theory, and music appreciation to over 400 students. Her particular passion is nurturing dedication to music in young children, with extensive experience teaching students of all ages. Jessica has specific expertise in teaching the British ABRSM System, renowned for its world-class examinations and certifications.

In 2023, Jessica joined the faculty of the American Conservatory of Paris where she teaches private cello lessons, group string class and chamber music.
