Danae

Danae is a Greek-born soprano, pianist, composer and music educator with a warm, creative approach to teaching. She works with both voice and piano students, helping them build strong foundations while developing confidence, musical expression and a genuine enjoyment of making music.

Her musical background is unusually broad, combining classical singing, piano, opera, composition and research. She studied at the University of Music Science and Art in Thessaloniki and later completed both her Bachelor and Master of Music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she combined advanced vocal studies with composition. This wide-ranging training allows her to adapt easily to students of different ages, levels and musical interests.

In singing lessons, Danae places particular emphasis on healthy technique, breath, posture, vocal freedom and expressive interpretation. In piano lessons, she focuses on developing a secure technical foundation, good listening habits, musical understanding and confidence at the instrument. Whether working with a beginner or a more experienced student, she aims to make lessons encouraging, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual pace and goals.

Danae enjoys helping students become curious, independent musicians. Her goal is not only to build technique, but also to help students understand the music they are learning, express themselves with confidence and develop a lasting connection with music.

Danae has collaborated with The American Conservatory of Paris since 2025.
