
Double time winner of the National Music Competition for the Young Artist in the Philippines, Rochelle started playing the piano at age 6. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Sto. Tomas Conservatory of Music where she graduated as a cum laude and a recipient of Rector’s Award. In 1992, she was chosen by the Australian Cultural Attache to represent the Philippines in the annual Australian Summer Music Camp held in Canberra fr-libido.com.
When Rochelle arrived in Paris, she was accepted in Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris where she earned her Diplôme Supérieure d’Enseignement under the tutelage of Cecile Edel-Latos. She also devoted her time playing in Chamber Music Ensembles and accompanying the Voice Polyphony Class of Helene Rasqueir. Rochelle has played in various concerts and recitals in Manila and Paris both as a soloist and accompanist.
Aside from her artistic activities, Rochelle is also a Kindergarten Teacher with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood. She works part time in International Schools and supports children with special needs.
