Mayu PIANO
Mayu was born in Tokyo and developed a deep love for music from an early age. She began taking piano lessons at four years old.
She pursued her education at the prestigious Toho Gakuen School of Music. Mayu earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance under the guidance of Michiko Okamoto. Throughout her studies, Mayu took master classes with some of the world’s most renowned pianists, including Ventsislav Yankov, Hideyo Harada, Frank Wibaut, and William Ransom.
Mayu has been recognized with awards from the Grenzen Piano Competition and the Kamisaibara Pianist Camp Competition. Her unique style has opened doors for performances at a diverse range of events, from parties and fashion shows to recording soundtracks for Japanese television.
A fervent performer, Mayu is equally passionate about music education. Therefore, She firmly believes that music education enriches the growth of younger generations.It gives them a deep look into the complex connections of human culture and history. Moreover, mastering an instrument can lead to profound self-discovery.
Mayu joined the Faculty of the American Conservatory of Paris in 2023.
