
A native of Boston, Erika Bliznik started clarinet at the age of 9 and continued her studies at the Longy School of Music, the Conservatoire de Versailles and Temple University. She has studied with many famed clarinetists, such as Jonathan Cohler, Phillippe Cuper (principal of the Opéra de Paris) and Ricardo Morales (principal of the Philadelphia Orchestra).
Enthusiastic teacher and pedagogue, Miss Bliznik is the Head of the Wind and Brass Department as well as a founding director of The American Conservatory of Paris.
